Panpuras

Panpura is a type of cornmeal that is produced in Venezuela, specifically in the state of Lara. Prepared from a pre-cooked corn dough, then form into balls and two bags (or plastic) are flattened as thin as possible. Then fry in plenty of oil until brown, are delicious and crunchy ... in this case I have served with a scallion Scrambled Eggs and a delicious black bean course could not miss my red brewed (coffee ...).

Panpuras:

2 ½ cups water
2 cups flour
corn ½ tsp salt
sugar 1 tsp Oil for frying

In a bowl place the water, salt and add in the flour as rain corn. Form a compact mass but soft to the touch.

Take small portions of dough and form balls.
Place between two plastic and flatten until very thin circle, bigger than a CD.

deep frying, browning, drain excess grease on paper towels.

Scrambled Eggs chives:

chopped chives 1 sprig of
3 eggs lightly beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter

In a skillet melt butter, add onion and saute.
Add beaten eggs, season with salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly ... is removed from the oven, returns, and so on ... until the desired stage.

Panpuras Serve with Scallion Eggs and Caraotas .
