In Venezuela We call this cupcake kind of cupcake made from flour, butter, eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla. Is part of the cultural legacy left us by the English when they came to our land, which were made in the convents and thus spread knowledge. If however, today I broke the rules ... I decided to take a break, a rich breakfast peanut cupcake with a cup of coffee ... Vary the original recipe by placing the peanuts and adapting it to my kitchen ... Ingredients:

Maizina 1 cup
1 cup flour
wheat ½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ cup unsalted peanuts, troceadito
100 grams of softened butter
3 eggs ¾ cup sugar
white 1 tsp essence of vanilla or peanut
½ cup milk

Preparation:

  1. In a mixing bowl mix all dry ingredients and set aside.
  2. With mixer Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one by one.
  3. With spatula to incorporate the dry ingredients and switching to milk and vanilla.
  4. Pour into paper cups (capacillos the size you want) for Cupcakes and placed into metal molds or silicone to keep the shape. Bake at 180 ยบ C. until golden brown.
  5. Optional: sprinkle with white sugar before baking.
